TIPOS DE PILAS, ACUMULADORES Y BATERÍAS

Batteries, accumulators, and rechargeable batteries are typically used as part of an electronic device and enable its operation.

Depending on their separability, batteries can be classified as:
  • Removable: They can be easily separated from the electronic device, allowing for replacement or preparation for recycling.
  • Integrated: The separation of the battery from the electronic device can only be carried out by a technician or specialist, as otherwise, the integrity of the products would be compromised.

Likewise, we can find different types of batteries, accumulators, and rechargeable batteries, depending on their technology and their use:
  • Portable: Any battery, button cell, accumulator, or rechargeable battery that is sealed, can be carried in the hand, and is not industrial or automotive, such as, for example, button and standard cells, and accumulators used in mobile phones, camcorders, emergency lights, and portable tools.

  • Automotive: A battery or accumulator used to start, ignite, or light vehicles.

  • Industrial vehicles: A battery or accumulator designed exclusively for industrial or professional use or used in any type of electric vehicle.

  • Light vehicles: Vehicles designed to transport goods or people quickly and efficiently, generally with less capacity and weight than heavy vehicles.

  • Electric vehicles: A vehicle that uses one or more electric motors for propulsion, instead of an internal combustion engine.

Where can I deposit my Batteries and Accumulators?

    1. When users purchase batteries or accumulators, they can deliver the waste to the store once they reach the end of their useful life.
    2. In large areas (battery and accumulator outlets with more than 400 m2).
    3. For sale online: at a collection point provided by the seller or at collection points designated for this purpose.
